Ivan Turkalj files plans for 32-unit building in Sunnyside

Ivan Turkalj, on August 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 32-unit, 24,547-square-foot building at 43-09 52nd Street in Sunnyside, Queens.

The plan call for the construction of a 90-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00785002.

The project is described in the filing as: new eight-story, multifamily dwelling containing 32 dwelling units.

The architect listed is T.F. Cusanelli & Filletti Architects. That firm is the same that designed the 11-unit building that currently exists on the parcel.

Turkalj bought the 11-unit building in July 2022 for $6.7 million.
