Horizon Group permitted for 66-unit resi building in Bushwick

David Marom’s Horizon Group, on September 30, was given a permit for construction of a 66-unit, 43,260-square-foot residential building at 389 Weirfield Street in Bushwick.

The plans were one of 34 new building plans filed in the neighborhood last year. This year there have been 11 new building plans filed in Bushwick.

The plans, pre-filed on November 17, 2020, call for the construction of a 120-foot tall, 12-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: construct new 12-story residential-use building as per plans filed.

Per the plans, the ground floor will have indoor and outdoor recreation spaces, a residential lobby, mailroom, parking for 36 cars, and three dwelling units. Floors two through nine will each have six dwelling units per floor, while floors 10 through 12 will each have five dwelling units per floor. The roof will have recreation space and the cellar will have a library, recreation and amenity space, a cafe, and parking for 24 cars.

Aufgang Architects is listed as the architect.

Demolition plans were filed in September of last year for the one-story structure which previously occupied property.

The property was acquired with three other properties for $7 million on October 30, 2020.
