Hong Wei Zhang files plans for 14-unit resi building in Astoria

Hong Wei Zhang, on May 6, filed a permit application for construction of a 14-unit, 15,437-square-foot residential building at 27-23 Crescent Street in Astoria, Queens.

There have been 34 new building plans, including these, filed in Astoria in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 55-foot-tall, five-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00719971.

The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 50 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: filing six-story, 14 class A multiple dwelling units building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have one dwelling unit and a residential lobby. The second floor will have three dwelling units and a recreation room. Flors three and four will each have four dwelling units per floor, while the fifth floor will have two dwelling units. The floor plans do not mention a sixth floor.

The architect listed is Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects.

The property was acquired with two other properties for $2.9 million on September 17, 2021.
