Home Depot files updated plans for a 133K sf store in Maspeth

Home Depot, on May 21, filed plans to construct a new 133,684-square-feet store at 59-19 Maurice Avenue in Maspeth, Queens.

The plans call for a new 64-foot tall, six-story, storage building.

The plans are stated as: filing herewith new building as per plans.

The ground floor will have a loading berth, warehouse space, and offices. Floors two through six will be used for warehouse space.

Home Depot bought the site in 2017 from Coca-Cola for $63 million. In early 2019, the retailer filed plans for a large store with the address 59-02 Borden Avenue totaling 133,247 square feet, and these new plans appear to supersede the old ones.

TAO Architecture + Design is listed as the architect for the project.
