Herman Kaufman files plans for 38-unit resi building in East Flatbush

Herman Kaufman through the company Kay Builders Inc., on February 15, filed a permit application for construction of a 38-unit, 25,587-square-foot building at 3308 Glenwood Road in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.

There have been 39 new building plans, including these plans, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 63-foot-tall, six-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00674044. The development site spans two tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed six-story residential building total of 38 dwelling units.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have parking space and one half of a duplex unit. Floors two though four will each have seven dwelling units per floor, and floors five and six will each have eight dwelling units. The cellar will have the lower half of one duplex unit.

The property was acquired for $1.5 million on December 9, 2021.
