Greenthal files to change CO at 87-unit residential building in Lincoln Square from SRO to apartment

Charles H. Greenthal & Co., on March 31, filed a permit application to change the certificate of occupancy of the 87-unit, 131,828-square-foot residential building at 140 W 69th Street in Lincoln Square from a single use occupancy to an apartment building.

The plans call for no change in size but a change in use of the 130-foot tall, 12-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: herewith filing to obtain new certificate of occupancy to remove SRO building status. Convert to all class A apartments. No work to be performed under this application.

The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $1,000.
