Abe Grunhut’s Greenrock Funding files plans for 18-unit mixed-use building in Bushwick

Abraham Grunhut’s Greenrock Funding, on March 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 18-unit, 17,849-square-foot mixed-use building at 1591 Broadway in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The application was under an alternate spelling of the applicant’s last name, Abraham Greenhut.

The plans are one of 19 total new building plans which have been filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The plan call for the construction of a 75-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00694424. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story and cellar mixed-use building, 18 dwelling units.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space, a residential lobby, and nine parking spaces. The second floor will be used for community space. Floors three and four will each have five dwelling units, floors five and six will each have three dwelling units, and the seventh floor will have two dwelling units.

The property was acquired with two other properties for $2 million on June 15, 2015.
