Australia-based Goodman files plans to demolish two LIC buildings

Australian logistics company Goodman, on July 11, filed a permit application for the demolition of a car wash and a convenience store at 39-04 Northern Boulevard in Long Island City, Queens. Charles Stehlik filed the plans.

The developer purchased the site for $42.8 million on November 16, 2021. No new building plans have been filed yet. The site has a total buildable of 194,585 square feet according to PincusCo analysis of city data.

The first plans call for the demolition of a one-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith full mechanical demolition of accessory car wash
