GFP Real Estate receives TCO following $8.2M project in Noho
GFP Real Estate, on October 9, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for a $8.2 million project to add rehearsal spaces and accessory offices to a 71,920-square-foot office building at 440 Lafayette Street in Noho.
The plans, pre-filed on July 20, 2018, call for a change in use of the ground floor in the 85-foot tall, six-story building. The time from pre-file to TCO was two years and three months.
The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation to first floor, cellar, and sub cellar of existing six-story masonry building. Change of use to rehearsal space use group 9. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,233,183.
The ground floor of the building was converted from a wholesale establishment and storage space to rehearsal spaces and accessory offices, per the plans.
