George Xu’s Century Development files demo plans for seven Flushing buildings
George Xu’s Century Development, on January 13, filed multiple permit applications for the demolition of seven buildings at the corner of Farrington Street and 35th Avenue in Flushing, Queens. The site is located across the street from George Xu’s 100-unit condominium, known as The Farrington, located at 134-37 35th Avenue. The building currently has a $208,627,351 sellout with the NYS AG.
The seven buildings are each roughly 15,658, for a total of 93,948-square-feet of built space.
The developer purchased the site for $16 million on March 14, 2019.
The first plans call for the demolition of a one-story commercial building at 33-67 Farrington Street.
