Franco Sukaj files plans for 46-unit residential building in Tremont

Franco Sukaj, on October 13, filed a permit application for construction of a 46-unit, 29,183-square-foot residential building at 2180 Arthur Avenue in Tremont.

The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot tall, eight-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: construct new apartment building.

The building will have a cellar with a laundry room, per the plans. The ground floor will have recreation rooms, a residential lobby, and one dwelling unit. Floors two through four will each have seven dwelling units, floors five through seven will each have six dwelling units, while the eighth floor will have seven dwelling units. The building will have 14 parking spaces.

Badaly Architecture is listed as the architect on the filing.

The property was acquired for $750,000 on July 1, 2016. Demolition plans were filed the next year, on May 19, 2017. The demolition plans have yet to be permitted.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.
