Facebook files plans for $18.4M in build-outs at Related’s 50 Hudson Yards

Facebook, on December 15, filed three plans for a total of $18.4 million in build-outs at 415 Tenth Avenue, known as 50 Hudson Yards, in Hudson Yards.

50 Hudson yards is owned by Related Companies, who recently filed plans for a $15.2 million build-out of two floors of the building.

In late 2019, Facebook confirmed that it would be leasing more than 1.5 million square feet of office space across 30 floors and three buildings at Hudson Yards: 1.2 million square feet in 50 Hudson Yards; 265,000 square feet in 30 Hudson Yards; and 57,000 square feet in 55 Hudson Yards.

The first plans call for $6.9M of work on floors 21 and 22 (tenant levels 31 and 32) of the 1,011-foot-tall, 58-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00563150.

The second plans call for $6.1M of work on the sub-cellar levels of the 1,011-foot-tall, 58-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00562783.

The project is described in the filing as: installation of non load bearing partitions as per plans. No change in use, egress or occupancy. Floors SC2, SC1, 1, 2 (tenant levels SC2, SC1, 1, 2).

The final plans call for $5.4M of work on the 31st floor (tenant level 51) of the 1,011-foot-tall, 58-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00569762.

The project is described in the filing as: installation of canopy, landscaped roof and light monitor. No change in use, egress or occupancy. Upper level canopy. Floors 31 (tenant levels 51) exterior terrace.

The property was acquired for $60.6 million on September 10, 2019.
