Essex Capital signs $21M refi for mixed-use building in the Upper West Side
Essex Capital Partners through the entity Gothic 96th Street LLC as borrower signed a refi loan with lender Citi Real Estate Funding Inc. valued at $21 million for the mixed-use building (K4) at 743 – 749 Amsterdam Avenue in the Upper West Side, Manhattan.
The deal closed on July 28, 2021 and was recorded on August 6, 2021.
The property has 32,980 square feet of built space and 68,445 square feet of additional air rights for a total buildable of 101,400 square feet according to PincusCo analysis of city data. The loan price per built square foot is $636 and the price per buildable square foot is $207 per the PincusCo analysis.
The signatory for Essex Capital Partners was Mitchell B. Rutter.
