Empire Transit Mix permitted for construction of 96K sf storage building in East Williamsburg

Empire Transit Mix, on August 25, was given a new building (NB) permit for construction of a 96,733-square-foot storage building at 106 Gardner Avenue in East Williamsburg.

The plans, pre-filed on October 5, 2019, call for the construction of a 54-foot tall, two-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: application is filed for a new two-story and mezzanine warehouse. All MEP work to be filed separately on dob now.

The two-story warehouse will have a ground-floor lobby, five loading berths, mezzanine office space, and 49 total parking spaces, 33 of which will be located outside.

The NB permit comes roughly two months after the developer was issued foundation (FO) and earthwork (EA) permits in June.
