Eddie Yair permitted for 35-unit resi building in Midwood

Eddie Yair through the company 1730 Ocean Avenue Development LLC, on December 7, was given a permit for construction of a 35-unit, 23,986-square-foot residential building at 1730 Ocean Avenue in Midwood.

The plans, pre-filed on August 28, 2019, call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, seven-story, 23,986-square-foot residential building with 35 residential units.

The project is described in the filings as: filing for a new seven-story residential building.

According to the plans, the ground floor will have a lobby, recreation space, laundry room, and parking for 17 cars. Floors two through six will each have six dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have five dwelling units.

Studio Gallos will be in charge of the design.

The single-family home that previously occupied the property was demolished last month.

Reports at the time of filling indicated an estimated completion date had not been announced.
