Dragonfly Design Build submits condo plan with 40 units in Bed-Stuy

On October 4, a condominium plan was submitted by Dragonfly Design Build for 40 residential units at 435 Tompkins Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.

The development is known as Diana Condominium.

The condo plan, CD210278, does not have a sellout price listed with the New York State Attorney General. Benjamin Pinover is listed as the Principal.

The developer purchased the property in 2018 for $6 million. According to reports, the previous owner had owned the parcel since 1945.

In January of 2019, the developer filed new building plans with the NYC Department of Buildings calling for the construction of a 70-foot tall, seven-story, 27,417-square-foot residential building with 40 dwelling units at the property.

Yimby released renderings of the development earlier this year.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have the lower half of a duplex unit and a parking garage. The second floor will have indoor and outdoor recreation spaces, five dwelling units, and the upper half of a duplex unit. Floors three and four will each have nine dwelling units, the. fifth floor will have eight dwelling units and one private terrace, the sixth floor will have five dwelling units and three private terraces, and the seventh floor will have three dwelling units and four terraces. The roof will have recreation space.
