DHA Capital permitted for Soho demo at site with 10-story commercial office planned

DHA Capital, on June 14, was given a permit for the demolition of a building at 30 Thompson Street in Soho.

The plans, pre-filed on October 10, 2019, call for the demolition of a single-story structure.

The project is described in the filing as: filing for full demolition of a one-story building.

In December of 2019, the developer filed plans calling for the construction of a 134-foot tall, 10-story, 47,648-square-foot commercial building with residential space. The number of units were not listed in the plans. The plans have been disapproved, it is not clear how the developer intends to move forward.

Plans had previously been filed at the site for a condominium with eight units.

The property was acquired for $8 million on April 1, 2019.
