Developer permitted for 20-unit resi building in Central Harlem

Jason Benta of OWJE Realty, on December 21, was given a permit for construction of a 20-unit, 13,975-square-foot residential building at 349 West 141st Street in Central Harlem.

The plans, pre-filed on July 26, 2019, call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, eight-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: herewith filing new eight-story residential building.

The building’s cellar will have laundry, per the plans. The ground floor will have a lobby, recreation room, and one dwelling unit. Floors two and three will each have four dwelling units per floor, floors four through six will each have three dwelling units per floor, while floors seven and eight will each have one dwelling unit per floor. Floors five and seven will each have a balcony.

Leaf Architecture is listed as the architect.

Demolition plans have not been filed, and will likely not be needed considering the lot is currently vacant.

Reports at the time of filing claimed an estimated completion date had not been announced.
