Developer files plans for 34-unit residential building in Highbridge
Shimshon Grunstein of AFS Systems Inc., on November 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 34-unit, 24,356-square-foot residential building at 1038 Woodycrest Avenue in Highbridge, the Bronx.
The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, eight-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: application filed herewith to propose an eight-story new building with 34 residential dwelling units.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have two dwelling units, a laundry room, and storage space. Floors two and three will each have four dwelling units per floor, floors four through seven will each have five dwelling units per floor, while the eighth floor will have four dwelling units.
Adam R. Taddonio is listed as the architect.
Demolition plans were filed on October 20 for the two-family building on the property.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
