David Horowitz files plans for 53-unit residential building in East New York

David Horowitz of Apple Realty Capital, on October 28, filed a permit application for construction of a 53-unit, 35,972-square-foot residential building at 360 Shepherd Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn.

Demolition plans were filed in August to clear the site.

There have been 22 new building plans filed in East New York so far this year.

The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00610324. the development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new seven-story and cellar residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have parking for 22 cars and recreation space. Floors two through six will each have nine dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have eight dwelling units. The cellar will have additional recreation space.

The architect listed is S. Wieder Architect P.C.

The property was acquired for $2.9 million on July 20, 2021.
