Courts roundup: Three foreclosures totaling $12M in Manhattan, Brooklyn
There were three commercial pre-foreclosure suits filed yesterday with original debt totaling $12 million.
In the largest filing, Hirshmark Capital filed a complaint seeking to foreclose on a $6 million original loan secured by 421 East 12th Street and 511 East 6th Street, in the East Village, which are owned by Cherny Properties and Cherny Realty, with the guarantor Zdzislaw Czerny. LINK
The second largest case was for $3.2 million, secured by 51 South 2nd Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, a property owned by 51 South 2nd Street Corp. with Stephanie Eisenberg as the loan signatory. The lender is Gotham Waterfront LLC, in care of a law firm. LINK
The third case was for $2.8 million, secured by 279 Menahan Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The lender is a securitized loan. LINK
