Court Square Real Estate files plans for 195-unit homeless shelter in Mt. Eden

David Sjauw, managing partner of Court Square Real Estate Partners submitted a new building construction project for a 195-unit, 123,422 square-foot homeless shelter (R-1) building at 1298 Inwood Avenue in Mt Eden, Bronx. The plan was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings on October 12, 2022 under job number X08008823. It calls for the construction of a 15-story building.
The architect is Curtis + Ginsberg Architects LLP. The project is described in the filing as: herewith filing fifteen (15) story new building building as per plans. Primary use group 3 – non profit w/ sleeping accommodations and use group 4 – community facility at the ground floor.
