Concern for Independent Living signs lease valued at $7.3M for affordable site in Fordham

Concern for Independent Living through the entity Chp St. James LLC signed a ground lease valued at $7.3 million with St. James Church Fordham through the entity Sjf Property Steward LLC for land at 2520 Jerome Avenue in Fordham, Bronx.
The deal closed on June 30, 2021 and was recorded on July 29, 2021.

Concern for Independent Living plans to build a 9-story affordable rental on the parcel.

The signatory for St. James Church Fordham was Matthew Oprendek. The signatory for Concern for Independent Living was Ralph Fasano.
