Columbia Property Trust files plans for $22.1M exterior rehab in Times Square
Columbia Property Trust, on October 20, filed plans for a $22.1 million exterior rehab of a commercial building, formerly known as New York Times Building, at 229 West 43rd Street in Times Square, Manhattan.
Last year the developer wrapped up a $7 million tenant build-out in the office portion of the building for their tenant Snapchat.
Columbia Property Trust owns the office condominium unit in the building, while Kushner Companies owns the retail condo unit.
The plans call for a rehab of exterior of the 219-foot-tall, 16-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00595340.
The project is described in the filing as: Facade repairs. No change in use, egress or occupancy.
The architect listed is Diaz Architects Inc., Pa.
