City plans three new rental buildings in East New York

New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development Affordable Independent Residences for Seniors (AIRS), a program launched in conjunction with the Zoning for Quality and Affordability text amendment in March 2016, are planning three rental residential buildings in East New York.

The three buildings will be located at 306 Pennsylvania Avenue, 392 Wyona Street, and 426 Wyona Street- 467 Vermont Street.

The plans were disclosed in land use application requesting an Urban Development Action Area Program (UDAAP) to facilitate the developments.
