City files plans for $5.8M project at East New York school

The New York City School Construction Authority, on May 25, filed plans for a $5.8 million project to install an elevator at a school building at 873 Jerome Street in East New York, Brooklyn.

The plans call for the installation of an elevator in the 41-foot-tall, three-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00740040.

The project is described in the filing as: construction of an elevator bulkhead, elevator and elevator shaft; selective demolition and improvements within the existing building, including general construction work, interior finish work; and site improvement work.

The architect listed is Kenny & Khan Architects PC.
