Hasidic girls’ school files plans for 78K sf college building in Crown Heights
Beth Rivkah, on March 1, filed a permit application for construction of a 78,356-square-foot college building at 302 Crown Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Mendy Gansburg, who is on the board of directors for the school, filed the plans. The school is affiliated with the Chabad Lubavitch Hasidic movement.
The plans call for the construction of a 87-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00683185. The development site spans two tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: new construction seven-story community facility building with college and sleeping accommodation functions.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have office space, conference rooms, and exercise rooms. The second floor will have classroom space. The third floor will have classrooms, lounges, and a library. Floors four through six will have dorms and lounges. The seventh floor will have a dining hall.
