Charles Schwartz files plans for enlargement of two-unit building to 23-unit building in Longwood Melrose

Charles Schwartz through the company CNC Developers, on April 13, filed plans for a vertical enlargement of a residential building at 1331 Morris Avenue in Longwood Melrose, Bronx. The project will convert the existing two-unit building into a 20-unit building.

The plans call for the increase in size of the building from a 24-foot tall, two-story building with two dwelling units to a 55-foot tall, four-story building with 23 dwelling units. This was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00716434.

The project is described in the filing as: Proposed enlargement converting existing two-story, four-unit, into a four-story and penthouse, 23-unit, residential building.

Per the plans, floors one and two will each have four dwelling units. Floors three and four will each have six dwelling units, and the penthouse and cellar will each have two dwelling units.
