Chaim Schwartz files plans for 47-unit resi building in Morris Heights

Chaim Schwartz of Prime Property Management, on June 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 47-unit, 31,271-square-foot residential building at 1896 University Avenue in Morris Heights, the Bronx.

There have been five new building plans, including these, filed in Morris Heights in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00741218.

The development site spans two tax lots. The lot has a width of 80 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed eight-story residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have one dwelling unit and parking space for 20 cars. The second floor will have four dwelling units and 10 parking spaces. Floors three through eight will each have seven dwelling units per floor. The roof will have recreation space. The building will have an additional 14 parking spaces outside of the building.

The architect listed is Nikolai Katz Architect.

The property was acquired for $255,000 on May 14, 2007.
