Centerpark pays $19.7M to Imperial Parking for two Manhattan garages
Gregg Reuben’s Centerpark paid $19.7 million to William Lerner’s Imperial Parking Systems for two Manhattan garages in two separate transactions. These transactions follow on another between the parties in Midtown West. Centerpark paid $15 million last month for a garage at 159 West 53rd Street.
In the larger of the new transactions, Centerpark LLC through the entity 47th Garage LLC paid Imperial Parking Systems’s East 46th Parking LLC $15.8 million for a garage condominium unit at 211 East 46th Street in Midtown East. The deal closed on November 10, 2020 and was recorded on December 10, 2020. The transaction consists of 1 parcel, including the tax class indoor parking condominium (RG). The property is 24,508 square feet.
The average sale price per square foot is $643.
The contract date was February 10, 2020. The last time the property sold was July 30, 2008 for $11,500,000.
Over the past five years, there have been 11 NYC Department of Buildings permit applications filed for this parcel valued at more than $20,000. The deal closed on November 10, 2020 and was recorded on December 10, 2020. The transaction consists of 1 parcel, including the tax class indoor parking condominium (RG). The property is 15,376 square feet.
The average sale price per square foot is $254.
The contract date was December 4, 2019. The last time the property sold was November 18, 2015 for $3,200,000.
