Carlyle Group signs $26.7M construction loan with Santander for storage development in Harlem
Carlyle Group through the entity 280 W 155th Street Owner, L.L.C. as borrower signed a new construction loan with lender Santander Bank valued at $26.7 million for the industrial (G6) at 280 West 155th Street also known as 2924 Fredrick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, Manhattan.
The deal closed on August 19, 2021 and was recorded on September 22, 2021.
The former owner, the Criterion Group, filed plans for a 79,762-square-foot storage building at the site, which was permitted in May 2021.
The owner bought the property on November 4, 2020, for $13 million.
The signatory for Carlyle Group was Jason Hart.
