Camber Property Group files plans for 63-unit shelter in East New York

Rick Gropper’s Camber Property Group, on July 29, filed a permit application for construction of a 63-unit, 52,914-square-foot shelter building at 114 Snediker Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn.

The developer recently received a permit for construction of a 128-unit, 100,444-square-foot mixed-use building at 1601 Dekalb Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The plans call for the construction of a 59-foot-tall, five-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00755555.

The development site spans two tax lots. The lot has a width of 200 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: construct five-story new building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have shelter offices, staff rooms, common rooms, and nine units with nine beds. The second floor will have shelter offices, staff rooms, common rooms, and four units with 14 beds. Floors three through five will each have 17 dwelling units with 59 beds per floor.

The architect listed is Mark E. Ginsberg.
