Brooklyn Academy of Music issued TCO following a $12M expansion in Fort Greene

Brooklyn Academy of Music, on May 1, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for a $12 million rehab of a building at 651 Fulton Street in Fort Greene.

The plans call for the increase in the size of the building to a 71-foot tall, 4-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith for alteration type 1 as per plans. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $12,000,000.

The plans show that the rehab added 3,889-square-feet to the building.
