Brookfield finishes $3.1M multi-floor rehab of Jane Street space at 250 Vesey

Brookfield Properties, on November 16, formally completed a $3.1 million rehabilitation of four floors of an office building at 250 Vesey Street in Battery Park City. The rehab includes space occupied by the financial firm Jane Street, which signed a lease in the building in 2014.

The plans, pre-filed on May 8, 2019, call for a rehab of floors three through six of the 473-foot tall, 33-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: general construction to include demolition of existing construction of new partitions and proposed partial demo for opening in slab for future convenience stair in existing commercial space (Jane Street) as shown. No change in use, egress, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3.075 million.

HLW International LLP was the architect for the project.

The building, formerly known as Four World Financial Center, is a part of the Brookfield Place complex.

The developer has filed nine A1 and A2 plans at the property so far this year.
