Brookfield finishes $15.8M project on Jane Street Capital floors at Brookfield Place

Brookfield Properties, on March 21, formally completed a $15.8 million rehabilitation of three floors of an office building at 250 Vesey Street in Battery Park City, including space leased by tenant Jane Street Capital.

In the previous 24 months there have been 68 alteration plans filed at the building. The initial costs of each project total $64,893,620 of work.

The plans, pre-filed on May 11, 2020, call for a renovation of the 473-foot tall, 33-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation to include construction of new partitions and finishes as shown on plans. No changes to use, egress, or occupancy. (Jane Street – fourth, seventh, and eighth floors) The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $15,833,843.
