Bronx charter school files plans for $34M project related to excavation of 76K sf school in Mott Haven
South Bronx Charter School For International Cultures & the Arts, on December 2, filed plans for a $34 million project at the site of a proposed school building at 2500 Park Avenue in Mott Haven, the Bronx.
Last year, the school filed a permit application for construction of a 76,486-square-foot school building at 199 East 135th Street. The entry will be at 2500 Park Avenue. Stephen Grasso of Partners for Architecture is the architect.
The plans call for a project relating to the excavation of the building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00613023.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed support of excavation.
The plans for the construction of the 68-foot tall, four-story, school have not yet been permitted.
