BFC Partners files plans for a 218-unit, 184K sf residential building in Central Harlem

BFC Partners, on April 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 218-unit, 184,836-square-foot residential building at 72 East 120th Street in Central Harlem.

The plans call for the construction of a 216-foot tall, 20-story, residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: erect a 20-story new building.

The plans call for retail space on the ground floor. Additionally, the ground floor will be used for a residential lobby, storage, and parking space. Residential units will be on floors 3 through 20. YIMBY reported that roughly 4,137-square-feet will be set aside for commercial use.

Marvel Architects is currently listed as the architect for the new development.

According to the city’s GIS map, there are currently no buildings located on the property, so it is likely no demolition will be needed.
