Betsy Mak files plans for 43-key hotel in Flushing
Betsy Mak, on November 3, filed a permit application for construction of a 43-key, 20,709-square-foot hotel at 131-24 40th Road in Flushing, Queens.
There have been eight hotel plans filed in Queens so far this year. These are the second hotel plans filed in the neighborhood of Flushing. The other plans, filed by Margaret Ling through the company 40th Road Realty Group LLC, on February 1, call for the construction of a 154-key, 46,055-square-foot hotel at 131-28 40th Road.
The plans call for the construction of a 122-foot-tall, 11-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00618542. The development site spans four tax lots.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have event space and six hotel rooms. Floors two and three will each have eight hotel rooms, the fourth floor will have five hotel rooms, the fifth floor will have four hotel rooms, and floors six through 11 will each have two hotel rooms per floor. The cellar will have a hotel lobby, office space, and community space.

The estimated job cost is $2,393,900.
