BEB Capital planning 426-unit mixed-use building in Bed-Stuy

Bert Brodsky’s BEB Capital is moving forward with plans to construct a 490,000-square-foot mixed-use building at 1045 Atlantic Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

The building will have 426 dwelling units and 63,000-square-feet of commercial space.

The plans along with the file number 77DCP733K, were disclosed in a filing seeking a zoning map amendment from M1-1 to a C6-3A district and a zoning text amendment to create a new mandatory inclusionary housing (MIH) area to facilitate the building.

The building will span 15 lots which were purchased for various prices, per the filling and city records. The lot with the address 1045 Atlantic Avenue was purchased for $13.5 million in late 2019.

No new building plans have been fled with the NYC DOB yet.
