Bartlett Dairy permitted for 53K sf storage building adjacent to JFK

Michael Becht of Bartlett Dairy, on August 1, was given a permit for construction of a 53,230-square-foot storage building at 161-02 Rockaway Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens, adjacent to John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The plans, pre-filed on July 7, 2020, call for the construction of a 46-foot tall, two-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: construct new 1 story with mezzanine warehouse with accessory offices on vacant land as per plans.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will be used for storage of dairy products. While the mezzanine will be used for offices.

The architect for the project will be H2M architects + engineers.

The property was acquired for $4.1 million on July 16, 2020.
