Azimuth Development files plans for 65-unit mixed-use building in Unionport
Guido Subotovsky’s Azimuth Development Group, on May 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 65-unit, 94,542-square-foot mixed-use building at 2070 Chatterton Avenue in Unionport, the Bronx. The building will have 12,747-square-feet of commercial space.
These are the seventh new building plans filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months. Of the seven plans, these plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units in the neighborhood.
The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00702588.
The lot has a width of 269 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: new seven-story mixed-use dwelling.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, office, and parking for 98 cars. The second floor will have recreation space and 10 dwelling units. Floors three and four will each have 12 dwelling units per floor, the fifth floor will have 11 dwelling units, and floors six and seven will each have 10 dwelling units.
The architect listed is Aufgang Architects.
The property was acquired for $5.1 million on April 12, 2018.
