Abraham “Axel” Stawski through the entities 413 E. 78 LLC and 431 E. 87 LLC paid $21.25 million to the Lavin family through the entities 413 East 78th Street LLC and 431 East 87th Street LLC for two Upper East Side rental buildings in two separate transactions.
The six-story, 10,622-square-foot 413 East 78th Street has 15 apartments and sits on a 2,554-square-foot, mid-block lot with 25 feet of frontage. The six-story, 11,220-square-foot 431 East 87th Street has 17 apartments and sits on a 2,870-square-foot, mid-block parcel with 28.5 feet of frontage.
Lavin family bought 413 East 78th Street for $5.75 million in 2015 and 431 East 87th Street for $5 million in 2016.
The signatory for the sellers was Sean J. Lavin and for the buyer was attorney Stewart Stern and Axel Stawski.
The broker for the buyer was Viktar Koltau of Douglas Elliman and for the seller was Shay Zach of Gaia Property Group and Thomas Gammino of B6 Real Estate Advisors.
