Atdhe Pilku moving forward with rezoning plans for 67K sf mixed-use office in Red Hook

Developer and owner Atdhe Pilku, whose operates Pilku Construction Services, is moving forward with a rezoning request in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn before planning on constructing a 67,336-square-foot mixed-use office building at 150 Mill Street.

The developer filed a land use application on August 15. An environmental assessment statement was filed back in June and the CEQR fee was paid in July.

The application requests approval of a zoning map amendment to facilitate the development of Block 552, Lot 13 with a 10-story plus cellar, 67,336-square-foot mixed-use commercial and community facility building. The zoning map amendment would rezone Block 552, Lots 13, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and parts of lots 5, 17, 18, 29, and 31 from the existing M1-1 zoning district to an M1-5 zoning district.

According to the application the building would have 9,462-square-feet of ground floor commercial retail space, 15,144-square-feet of community facility space on floors two and three, and 42,727-square-feet of office space spanning floors four through 10.

A report from Brownstoner last month included updated renderings of the project, seen below, from the Department of City Planning.
