Arker Companies receives TCO following construction of 267-unit rental Fountains Seaview

Arker Companies, on May 29, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 267-unit, 249,088-square-foot residential building at 911 Erskine Street in East New York.

The plans, pre-filed August 26, 2016, call for the construction of a 95-foot tall, nine-story, residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new nine-story mixed-use building.

The ground floor has two commercial spaces, according to the plans. The second floor has 33 units in addition to a recreation room, business room, and outdoor recreation space. Floors three through seven have 38 units each and floors eight and nine have 22 units each.

The building is part of the redevelopment of the former Brooklyn Developmental Center site.

An affordable housing lottery opened for 199 units in the building in March. Of the affordable apartments, there are seven studios, 87 one-bedroom units, 63 two-bedroom units and 42 three-bedroom units. Monthly rents range from $328 to $1,504.

The property was acquired for $10 million.
