Micasa Living is fully permitted for construction of a 31K sf residential building in University Heights

Ari Thaler, founder of development firm Micasa Living, on June 18, was given a permit for construction of a 36-unit, 30,871-square-foot residential building at 2660 Kingsbridge Terrace in University Heights, the Bronx.

The plans, pre-filed on May 24, 2019, call for the construction of a 45-foot tall, 5-story, residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new five-story and penthouse, 36-unit residential building with community facility.

Plans state the cellar of the building will be used for utility rooms, a compactor room, bicycle parking, a leasing office, along with tenant recreation space and community facility space. The ground floor will have a residential lobby and additional community facility space. Floor two through five will each have nine dwelling units. The building will provide parking spaces for 18 vehicles. The units will most likely be rentals based on the average unit size of 734-square-feet.

Demolition plans were never filed and the lot is currently vacant.

The property was acquired for $495,000 on May 20, 2019.
