Arben Mitaj files plans for 111-unit rental building in Fordham

Arben Mitaj, on September 29, filed a permit application for construction of a 111-unit, 75,672-square-foot residential building at 2072 Anthony Avenue in Fordham, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 113-foot tall, 12-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: construct new apartment building.

The ground floor of the building, per the plans, will have a 1,798-square-foot recreation space along with a residential lobby, storage space, and two dwelling units. Floors two through eight will each have 11 dwelling units, while floors nine through 12 will each have eight dwelling units. The building will also have 22 parking spaces.

Badaly & Badaly Architects will be responsible for the design.

Demolition plans were filed earlier this year in March for the two-story building on the property. The plans have not yet been permitted.

The developer previously planned to construct an eight-story residential building at the site in 2019.
