Ampiera Group files plans for 78-unit residential building in Woodside

Ampiera Group, on June 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 78-unit, 60,774-square-foot residential building at 40-22 61st Street in Woodside.

The plans call for the construction of a 68-foot tall, seven-story residential building. Henry Zhao was identified as managing member of the entity that owns the parcel, 4061 Street, LLC.

The project is described in the filings as: new building, seven-story residential building.

The ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, gym, outdoor recreation room, private terraces, and 13 residential units, according to the plans. Floors three and four will each have 14 residential units, floors five and six will each have eight residential units, and the seventh floor will have seven residential units. Units on the fourth, fifth, and seventh floors will have access to private terraces. The building will also have a 30-foot-long yard and 72 parking spaces.

The 78 units will most likely be rentals based on the average unit size of 779 square feet each.

Two demolition plans were filed on June 12, 2019, for the one-story garage and two-story house that were occupying the property.

The property was acquired for $3.1 million on April 26, 2019.
