Amit Veeramachaneni files plans for 12-unit building with retail in LIC
Amit Veeramachaneni, on April 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 12-unit, 13,664-square-foot mixed-use building at 38-26 28th Street in Long Island City, Queens.
The plans call for the construction of a 54-foot-tall, five-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00713167.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed commercial and residential mixed use four-stories plus basement and cellar building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and retail space. The second floor will have six dwelling units, while floors three and four will each have three dwelling units per floor. The basement will have parking for eight cars.
The architect listed is Z Architecture PLLC.
The property was acquired for $1 million on May 28, 2009.
