Solomon Schwimmer files plans for 38-unit resi building in Bed-Stuy
Solomon Schwimmer through Twin Group Associates Inc., on April 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 38-unit, 26,010-square-foot residential building at 650 Madison Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
Last month the developer filed a permit application for construction of a 234-unit, 164,763-square-foot mixed-use building at 953 Dean Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
There have been 42 new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.
The plans call for the construction of a 50-foot-tall, five-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00712457.
The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 130 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed five-story and cellar residential building, total of 38 dwelling units.
Per the plans the ground floor of the building will have five parking space, recreation space, and five dwelling units. The second floor will have eight dwelling units, floors three and four will each have nine dwelling units per floor, while the fifth floor will have seven dwelling units and recreation space. The cellar will have a media room, exercise room, and lounge. The roof will have recreation space. The building will have 15 parking spaces outside.
The architect listed is Leandro Nils Dickson Architect, Llc.
The property was acquired for $2.2 million on October 9, 2015.
