Altmark files $3M plans to convert commercial into 55-unit resi building in Mott Haven
Moshe Altmark’s Altmark Group, on June 7, filed plans for a $3 million project which aims to convert a 55,831-square-foot commercial building into a 55-unit residential building at 2447 Third Avenue in Mott Haven, the Bronx.
The plans call for the change in use of the 55-foot tall, five-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number X00530025.
The project is described in the filing as: Alt 1 application filed to change use to residential. No change in zoning under this application. New certificate of occupancy to be obtained.
The scope of work section of the filing was not populated, so it is unclear what the floor layout will be with the new building.
Woods Bagot Architect PC. is listed as the architect.
The developer filed similar plans in 2005, which were eventually withdrawn in 2012.
